| this morning i climbed mount baldy at the indiana dunes state park. i'd never been. during a windstorm, so lake michigan looked like north shore hawaii. did not go swimming. | |

| then i drove to the town where my screening tomorrow is. no cheap hotels there so i drove back to the city for a room near the airport. $54. 1000 miles so far this trip, it seemed shorter on the map. | |

| now i need to get some sleep so i'll be rested in the morning, sleep isn't coming yet. drove through chicago, dove my favorite dumpster there. | |

| it's about 50-50 if i get into the study or not. high blood pressure is the most likely reason to not make it. | |
