hmmm.. Mr Bacon doesn't seem to have an answer for a question
 | | |
| Do you know how D20 replaces OH and NH ? | |
 | | |
 | | |
| YES! I DO. But first of all do you know what D2O is. Its the same chemical compound as water but with deutrium the D replaces the H | |

| why you little! i didn't ask you that smarty pants. i knew that already. i need to know how does it replace OH and NH | |
 | | |
 | | |
| Well its easy. First a proton NMR is run, then a small amount of D2O is added to the sample solution. Finally any peak due to OH and NH protons disappears. | |

| I didnt know it was that easy. | |

 | | |
| it is but i hope you dont forget it. Remember it works because the deutrium in D20 exchanges with H present in OH AND NH . BYE | |
