in 1547 Edward VI became ruler when Henry VIII died but Edward was only 9 so his Protestant advisors helped him rule but faught illness and only ruled for 6 years

Mary, daughter of Catherine of Aragon, took the throne in 1533 and returned the English CHurch to the power of the Pope. Had many protestants executed and then died in 1558

In 1558, Elizebeth, Anne Boleyns duaghter inherited the throne. in 1559 parliament followed the queens wishes and set the Anglican church, under Elizebths power the only legal church in England.
