| The oxidative respiration happens in the mitochondria of the cell right? So that means there has to be enough oxygen present in your system for the mitochondria to go through oxidative respiration. | |

| And oxidative respiration means that the mitochondria will go through the Kreb's cycle to produce 6CO2 molecules. And the electronic transport chain will do its thing to produce 6H2O molecules. | |

| Yeah that's why your breathing will speed up when exercising. Your body doesn't have enough oxygen for oxidative respiration and that means the cells aren't producing enough ATP for your body. | |
