Jimmy and Sue took a trip down to the Aral Sea about 20 feet from their houses.

About a month later, after the dams were made, Jim and Sue walked down to the lake again.

| Hmm. The water tastes kind of funny now and is that a salt pile-up over there? Ugh, I don't feel so good. | |

As the water receeds more and more, Sue goes back down to that same spot that used to be the lake. The pollution in the lake can cause some problems like liver disease.
