It was a snowy and sunny winter day at Glen Alps, late 2009, but Anchorage was socked in fog and had been for weeks. So we were at Glen Alps enjoying the Chugach winter wonderland.

Our friends were from Ketchikan and were up here visiting not knowing the disaster to come. We were at Taco Del Mar and the worker put salsa on my burrito when I said no thanks to the salsa.

Not wanting to waste, I ate the huge burrito. I didn't feel to bad after eating it, but I knew it was a bad choice.
