Steven hasn't evolved from his evolutionary past meaning his chances of survival have sadly not increased.

| Hey there Sally, you look like you'd be the perfect candidate to raise my off-spring, want to mate? | |
 | | |
|
 |
 | | |
| Ew no way your snout is far too small! | |

According to the theory of sexual selection Steven has not changed over time as a result of good genes being passed on to him from his father. So he is no more attractive than any other pig.

This means Sally will not go for Steven because of his small snout. He is less likely to reproduce and pass on his genes unlike large snout pigs who's characteristics can evolve when they reproduce.
