The poem end with his last adventure.He was an old man but greatlty beloved by his people. one night one of his subjects had stumbled a treasure guarded by the dragon.

| Beowulf I saw a dragon guarding the treasures. | |

On the same night the dragon attacked and destroyed the the village and kill all the inhabitants. Again beowulf fought this dragon with all his strength left.

Although beowulf slew the dragon he swallowed some of the fire. And met his death. He was buried in sorrow and recieve signal honors from his men.
