Here the Merchant is leaving on some business and asked the Monk (Dan John) to stay with him before he leaves.

| Hey im going out of town soon Dan John (Monk) and you should stay till i leave | |

On the morn of the Merchants departure we find the monk in the garden praying and the merchants wife comes to greet him

| Yeah so i dont love my husband at all cause he doesnt give me money and i owe somebody money so i was wondering if i could borrow it from you and ill do whatever in return? | |
