Hello I am a geeky nerd and I love it. Mostly made comics for revision so they're going to be cheesy AF but that's okay.

This is Nadine and Peter. They have temporarily taken the place of the donkey and bird, who are off sick. They explain germination.
What is germination, Peter? My teacher told me that it's how a baby plant grows.
That's right, to some extent. Germination is the process by which the embryo plant in the seed grows until it can photosynthesize by itself.
And what makes germination possible? The weather?
It isn't the weather that dictates how well germination will occur - well, not really. It needs certain things to happen.
OH YES! I know this!! It needs warmth, water and oxygen. Warmth for enzyme efficiency, water to soften the testa and for chemical reactions and oxygen for respiration (and energy)!
See the next series for comics on human / animal reproduction.
Exactly! Well done, Peter. Did you know, the radicle's growth downwards is called positive geotropism?
Oh yeah, and I heard that growing upwards (like the plumule) is negative geotropism. That must mean that geotropism is growing towards the earth, which the root does and shoot doesn't!
