I think that the positive reinforcement I gave him, helped him out a lot. It made him more self-motivated, if even for just that one day. I felt happy I could help him complete his work.

Over the course of one class, he had improved so much! It was hard to believe that this was the same boy who would rather do ANYTHING then math. He was now self-motivated and empowered by that.
