It was discovered by A.J. Balard in Montepellier, France, in 1826. The name comes from the Greek word meaning "stench." Bromine got this name because of its horrible smelll
It can be very dangerous too. This person right here died from coming into contact with Bromie.
If it' so dangerous why do people even bother with it?
It can be used for many things. It is used in photography. These pictures behind us were taken using film with Bromine in it.
