Who's Nancy Hart? I heard she was a heroine. Is it true? Or false?
Yes. Nancy Hart was Georgia's most acclaimed female participant during the Revolutionary War. She gained notoriety during the revolution for her determined efforts to rid the area of English soldiers.
Really? Also, what happened at the Battle of Yorktown?
In June 1781, Georgia's militia was under command of colonel Clarke. With the help of Continental troops, Clarke took Augusta from the British.
That's it? Doesn't seem like a battle.
No that's not it. General George Washington, was helped by French forces when he faced British General Lord Cornwallis. Cornwallis surrendered on October 18, 1791
