I'll totally give you all of the rest, although I maintain Weezer's "Pinkerton" is a spectacular record that, unfortunately, has been marred by the absolute shit they've put out in the 21st century. ("Beverly Hills?" Jesus fucking Christ on a goddamn pogo stick.)
I worked at a music store when that album (the beverly hills album, that is) came out. My manager loved it so hard, which made me question his music taste on a daily basis. I agree that Pinkerton was awesome, as was The Blue Album... and their newest, Red Album, is simply "okay". I agree with frank that Mars Volta needs to be shot in the face... with bullets this time. As well, pretty much any and all rap/hip hop/r&b/pop artists I have a serious hate for. Like, seriously. Their songs are grammatically incorrect and feature the same word or phrase over ... and over... and over... and over again. Don't get me wrong, I listen to some of it. Because I sell out sometimes. But even I draw the line somewhere.
