I'm getting a car. I'm thinking of getting vanity plates. I looked on the Nebraska DMV plate availability site, and tried a few of the ideas I had. NE plates allow 7 characters.

Here are the results:

LADYJ is unavailable
LADY J is unavailable
NEWYORK is unavailable

YO JOE is available, and is currently in the lead. It is, of course, what GI Joes (like Lady Jaye) say when they run into laser fire that never touches them. I dunno if I love it enough to pay $30 a year for it.

AYBABTU is available, but the only people who would get it would probably also key my car for having it. The up side is that it would drive 99% of the people who see it batty on their way to work in the morning, trying to figure out what it means.

NOOYORK is available, and is also the name of one of my vanity domains, but a reminder that I'm paying to maintain a domain with which I'm doing nothing constructive.

I'd love some other ideas.
