Yup.
Though I hate the smell of sunscreen and I hate anything greasy on my skin. Fortunately I've learned to avoid the outside whenever possible. With any luck, soon I shall evolve into a strange albino creature that only ventures outside at night, preying on the flesh of nighttime stockboys.
I was out in the sun for about a total of fifteen minutes today while I was moving furniture to and from the truck/apartment and my face is a little burned. 7,200 feet of elevation is a bitch. How I managed to survive 9,200 feet for an entire summer while staying outside most of the time is something short of a miracle. I must have been a robot back then.
AA, I suggest this Hawaiian Tropic blue burn relief ice gel stuff. It's a topical analgesic and has this weird evaporating cooling thing that's the most awesome ever on sunburns. I all but guzzled the stuff when I got my last bad burn while working at Walmart. The cooling effect worked so well that the air currents on my face from walking gave me an ice cream headache.
