crikey--it's just a plain old strat, but that said it's by far the sexiest piece of wood i've ever owned. a new one--mexican standard fat strat, yes to the single coils, midnight wine finish. $399.99 plus a discounted hard case (:

i'll probably be screwing around with mods later on (different pickups and perhaps some custom inlays), but for now i'm just incredibly happy to have upgraded from my crappy old pawn shop harmony fake-strat whose jack was falling out.

i'm still planning on finally getting a cheapo webcam soon, and perhaps i'll send along pics.

I still slap Babs, my Fender P. Love those low notes. I knew a guy who had a telecaster with a second set of pick-ups - Strats. It was so strange to hear the strat sound come out of that single horn guitar.

I used to own a blonde Ricki but I sold her to a kid who could show her a good time in bar gigs. Me and Babs just stay home to play.
