I didn't have much of a problem with it. Except for that sergeant guy in the mech-thingie that spent the last half of the movie yelling incoherently. I could have done without that.

And what was up with those mech things? They had the technology to build those fucking things, but the best reloading scheme they could come up with was a couple of mooks with a wheelbarrow?

Ermh, did you not notice the "self-guided bombs" the machines had? They first used them in Reloaded, remember?

Also, we have computers now that are EMP Shielded. You'd think the machines would have come far enough by then to be fully EMP shielded (especially considering their progression in other fields).

Oooh, ooh, don't forget the fact that Neo somehow regained his.. oh, sorry. Spoiler.

Anyway, yeah, there are many stupid things in the Matrix, but it IS a SciFantasy movie, after all.

withling's right, it's just about thwarted expectations. I didn't think much of the first film, so I didn't hate Reloaded as much as most people seem to. It was crap, sure, but hardly that crap.

I just watched Revolutions and it was exactly the crap of Reloaded. As I remember someone saying in the Reloaded thread, Reloaded and Revolutions were really just one big movie split in half. And both of those halves were replete with suck.

The only difference is that this time I expected it. When I watched Reloaded, I was caught completely off guard. The original Matrix was brilliant. I loved it. It was and is my favorite movie all-time. So when I saw Reloaded, and the crap that it had become, it was like getting punched in the gut.

Here's the main difference between the original Matrix and the two that followed. It's very very simple. In the original Matrix, the action was led by the plot. In Reloaded and Revolutions, the plot was led by the action.

I say its no worse than Jackie Chan or T3 the other crap hollywood puts out, and I have more fun watching it when I know how bad it is, and just let myself enjoy it. Don't hold high expectations of a sequal to a nearly perfect scifi movie.

I actually thought T3 was pretty good. The big chase scene was fantastic, and the plot was pretty clever and had quite a brave ending.

The first movie wasn't the typical crap that hollywood puts out, which is why the 2nd and 3rd being said crap was super dissapointing.

Your "Don't" assumes a common purpose where none exists. ie, I neither enjoy, nor do I desire to enjoy, crap movies.
