Actually, I've seen them in concert, too, and Neil Young performed with them, too. (It was at a Bill Graham memorial concert in '91.) They rocked. The best part of that concert, though, was when Carlos Santana and John Fogerty jammed with the Grateful Dead.

That reminds me of the Super Bowl of Rock concerts I used to go to in Soldiers Field in Chicago. Guys walked up and down the aisles with vender boxs yelling, "White cross! Get yer white cross! Opium!" Pipes just wondered down the line. Jugs of water flew through the air like mexican hats in a Speedy Gonzales cartoon splashing down on smoking, stoned out, long hair, heads. Clothing optional.

Being young in the late 70s rocked.
