Yes, lust may be more multi-faceted than other deadly sins. We're strongly drawn to it, but not with anyone. Contrast lust with gluttony. Food is a passive object, whereas another human being is not. In gluttony, there is no tension between the glutton and his food. It is just there to be consumed. But with lust, there is tension between the luster and the lustee. If Tobor tells a sandwich that he's going to eat him, it doesn't matter, because a sandwich doesn't care. But when Tobor tells a human that he will cornhole him, there is tension between Tobor's intention and the desires of his victim. The humor may be found in this tension. This opens up a new question. With respect to the other deadly sins, what kinds of tensions do they involve that could be exploited for the sake of humor?
