Yeah, really. How the hell did that first Steelers touchdown get cleared? Did they somehow miss his feeble, guilty scrambling to get the ball over the line? Like he'd have done that if he'd actually gotten it over.

ball crossed the line as he was flying through the air, therefore play dead, TD, it doesn't matter about where his knee came down etc etc because his knee came down a good bit after he scored the TD. You would not beleive the amount of people in the pub that I had to explain this to.

And you also can't overturn a TD because somebody looked a bit shifty/guilty after the play. You may as well imprison people with shifty looking eyes

If you wanna talk about bad calls that seahawks incomplete pass to i think jeremy stevens that should have been ruled a fumble sticks out in my mind

I stayed up and watched the first half before fatigue and beer hit me and I went to bed. Really good match, was surprised the Seahawks made such a good go of it. Both defences were really well run, did you see how many times the QB's were scrambling or going long?

Any good SB party stories?

I thought the Seahawks got a raw deal, but it's history now and I really didn't care that much who won. I was mainly just rooting for the west coast team.

The half-time show was a tad disappointing. Were we the only ones who could hardly even hear the first song? I hope the people who sold their second born to get tickets up next to the stage weren't getting those problems. I was pissed at the producers on that one. You just don't fuck up one of the few Rolling Stones songs that anyone cares about.

Oh, and some of the commercials were funny. I just have to wonder why some of the advertisers spent that much money getting a commercial into the superbowl but didn't make new commercials. Kind of a waste if you ask me.

That Fed-Ex commericial was great, and the Bud Light one with the "Magic Fridge" made me ROFL (figuratively speaking). Was it just me, or did the commercials flat out suck after the second quarter?

But as for parties? Me and some buddies got a big pizza and a few subs. Super Bowl Sunday is the one day a year that Americans have something to blame their laziness on. I got NOTHING achieved yesterday.

The Super Bowl was a major disappointment. I had money riding on my prediction that the two teams would be so closely matched that they would actually merge into a single team called the "Steelhawks". The "Steelhawks", having twice as many players as any other team in the league, would have been unbeatable.

It wasn't just you. And I loved the "Magic Fridge" commercial. MAAGIC FRIIDGE! MAAAGIC FRIIIIDGE!

Also, I thought it was kinda cool to bring out the past 39 MVPs. Did anyone get a count of how many people actually got the MVP award? There were a few two-timers in there, so I lost count.

I really liked how they honored the men of Super Bowl's past, and how Franco Harris whipped out a yellow towel and waved it around. I thought it was absolute bullshit, however, that Tom "Sellout" Brady did the coin toss.

This was the first football game I ever sat and watched, got to party with bunner and our old friend from Jr. High. They were kind enough to explain the game to me. My take on it was this:

At one point, the commentator said something about wondering where the holes were in the Seahawks' defense. I said it was in their psyche, after they got boned the first time when the Steelers didn't really get that touchdown but pretended to. As usual, I favour the underdog, so from that point on I was hoping the Seahawks would win.

I thought the "geriatrics" were great, they will be until they croak. Aretha wasn't bad, but Neville sucked the big one.

BTW, we also loved the "Magic Fridge".

I loved the crime deterent phone commercial. I've used that feature on my phone once since realizing its effectiveness.

As for parties, we have something called a love sack (you can find them online here), a 6' one. There were 3 guys piled on this thing with one girl. The girl is "together" with one of the guys that was on this sac, but that is not the one whose goal was to twist her nipple all night. Bryan and I took the couch and watched in amusement. That is until he started with his conspiracy theories about the superbowl and the patriots' win in 2001.

I had this dream that after the halftime show, Keef and Mick gave an interview wherein they revealed how they wrote all those songs, viz: They'd listen to the radio on the way to the studio, and whatever was on, they'd make a song like that. It'd come out sounding different partly because they'd change a few things, but mostly because they were inept and careless. The example they showed was some song off the latest album being a ripoff of "Peekaboo" by Siouxsie and the Banshees, but it was such a bad ripoff, you couldn't tell. Keef and Mick were laughing and boasting about being regarded as innovators and making piles of money off being, basically, the world's worst cover band.

This is the most brilliant and insightful dream I or perhaps anyone has ever had, and if it isn't true, it should be.
