My dad fights with religious whackos on USENET or something. They say all kinds of weird stuff and thats the LAST kind of comunication I want to use the net for. But anyway...

To quote something that the worst of them once said,

"I curse you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are filthy little false Christian scum, keep your garbage to yourself... filty little... false christian scum."

This was actualy a phone call to another person that participated in these discussions.

This same person(that made the call) is now sueing my dad and others(including yahoo) because of abuses and stuff... verbal abuse, hacking, creating a climate that he would be veiwed negitiavly in blah blah blah...

at any rate, someone here needs to be told...

True D&D story...

Many years ago, I was DMing the first ever session of D&D played by Bec and our housemate Quentin. Both of them had played a lot of computer RPGs, and Bec had played the SSI D&D games to death, so both of them had a fair idea of how the whole standard-issue fantasy world works. Beside an undetrground river, they encountered a scrag, also known as a river troll. Both knew that trolls could regenerate quickly so, after a rather difficult fight, they hacked it into pieces, and pondered the problem of how to prevent it reassembling itself. Of course! The fast-flowing river would scatter the pieces...

Oops.

Scrags can only regenerate while immersed in fresh water.
