Generally speaking, I make my art (I still feel uncomfrtable using that word, but anyway) and I want it to be precisely that - mine. When other people use and edit my art, there are two things that are problematic. Firstly, that's my own personal creation they are fucking around with. Secondly, if they later say that the finished product is theirs, it isn't true - they worked with my work as a basis.

That said, I don't mind any of the stuff that has been submitted to this forum. The stuff about Bazilla's character was all a joke, based on him saying he looked like Kajun's character with some small differences. Fuzz's priest was also fine - he acknowledged the it was based on my art, and it was changed so much that it really wasn't my art at all any more.

A classic case of someone pissing me off artwise would be somebody taking one of my pics, changing a couple of colours and making a complete fucking dog's breakfast of it, but leaving it recognisable as my art, and then claiming it as his own. This hasn't happened yet, but I am a parnoid, neurotic artist...

I remember going to a wedding reception (I had done this gal's wedding flowers as my gift to her) and looking on in horror as her bouquet lay there next to the cake with most of the babies breath and all of the little yellow filler flowers, as well as some of the others simply *gone*. IE: It looked like shit at that point, and I was embarrassed that people knew I had done her flowers. The bride removed them herself, leaving gaping holes, because she'd thought that it looked crowded.
