hmm..wow...no one here is incredibly underground..and no one seems to be into hardcore or punk...thats pretty cool...my list...
1.Poison The Well-The Opposite Of December/ Good old hardcore only with love sick lyrics....emo meets sick of it all..gotta love it..
2. Dexter Gordon- Gotham City/ No matter how many times I listen to this album never do I tire of it.
3. The Refused- The Shape of Punk To Come/ Absoultly Mind blowing, one of the only hardcore bands that would pose near a Coltrane poster...I'd include Text's stuff ass well
4.Thursday-Full Collapse/ Five Stories Falling EP- Combined them because Five Stories Falling is basically full collapse live and with one new track...Fuckng awesome band
5. At The Drive-In-Vaya Ep/ My favorite thing of At The Drive Ins...too bad its an ep
6.Snapcase-End Transmission/ Its like a hardcore concept album..pure genuis...mind blowing live band as well
7. Nine Inch Nails-And all that could have been deluxe edition/ I add in the deluxe part, because along with all of the live tracks from their Trent's brillant catalog, it also has the second disk of almost acoustic songs that are so relaxing and have such an amazing atmosphere to them
8.Mustard Plug-Evil Doers Beware/ Have to have some ska now dont we?
9.John Coltrane's Blue Train/ Yet another classic album...
10.Cursive-Domestica/ Amazing Emo from Nebraska...only band i can think of that has a cello that can share a bill with bands like Poison The Well....'The Night I Lost The Will To Fight' is one of the best songs I've ever heard...well..thats an overstatment..but its a good song...
Honorbale mentions-Coheed and Cambria, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, so many more as well
