Not a bad start. My first suggestion is to improve the dialogue flow. Make sure it sounds like a conversation. And don't worry about a poor initial rating; I started at 0 when I first joined, now I'm rated as "average." Just keep making comics and try participating in the contests to gain experience.

I agree with Xuanwu. Also try and get noticed a bit more. Post in the various forums and bug the shit out of the regs until they take notice and rate you.
