I just went and saw Rent on broadway. It was totally kick ass. Oh yes, such thought provoking lyrics. "We're not gonna pay rent. Rent rent rent rent rent." Don't you see? That's an allegory for things being "messed up" or "torn". Their lives are "rent". Okay, the fact that you know what an allegory is and like Rent proves my point. I'm not gay.
