I feel like bringing back this old contest.

How it used to work is that you'd have a sign up thread where people would get in line, then a submission thread. To simplify things, I'm ditching the sign up thread.

Rules:

1. Post one comic at a time, then let someone else post before responding with a comic of your own.

2. The name of this is "Serial Comic." I hope I don't need to explain what a "Serial" is.

3. New comics only. Photoshop is fine, though.

4. Be sure to check the thread before you post to make sure your comic isn't out of order.

5. It ends when people stop posting comics. There is no winner, just the thrill of collaboration with your fellow asylum inmates.

I'll start things off:

Mr. Coppola, I don't think Godfather Part 4 is a very good idea. The original actors still hate you for Part 3. Nonsense! Abe Vigoda signed up. For the rest of the cast, we'll do it like Roger Rabbit: mix real people with cartoons drawn in a popular art style. What style? Anime! Godfather Part 4 Tomcat, can't you get me out of this? For old time's sake. Sorry, Tessio. Not this time. Nyu~!
