Actually, the labia thing is really quite depressing...
Generally speaking, the only women who get into mainstream porn have tiny little labia that tuck away neatly inside. In Australia, it is actually illegal to show more than a particular amount of vaginal flesh without putting a plastic wrapper on the magazine. One women's magazine (Cosmopolitan or Cleo, one of those) did an article about how women were getting themselves surgically mutilated to look more like those tidy porn pussies, but they were forbidden by the OFLC (Australia's BBFC/MPAA) to use the photos of genuine, everyday, big-lipped vaginas in the article. The magazine decided not to run the article, since it would have been pointless.
In the name of the same censorship bullshit, porn mags are digitally edited to get rid of protruding labia. They don't just do it because the people making the mags think it looks better - the law requires them to! I read some sickening figures about the number of women who are running off to the cosmetic surgeon to have their labia lopped off, hurting like hell in the short term, and seriously reducing their sexual pleasure in the long term.
*sigh*
Sorry to go on, but this particular bit of bureacratic stupidity irritates me greatly - insitutionalised self-image destruction.
