(kramer_vs_kramer) - I haven't met any of your store coworkers, and I'm guessing neither have the majority of the people here. So I'd suggest maybe changing the names to protect the innocent, and just concentrate on making strips about the store that are funny without having background information on all the people. Because some of them, like this one, are pretty good.
Definitely quit having the characters state their name before every dialogue box, it's rather irritating. Do keep up the comics, though. There's real potential here.
Point taken. I've quit with names in front of the dialogue. The reason the comics are about my co-workers is because they are the audience I am specifically writing for, and they don't mind. Plus they are great inspiration.
my first few comics were about my bosses for the enjoyment of my co-workers, it got pretty boring pretty quickly and within a few months Tobor reared his ugly head and ended up cornholing all over my strips.
This isn't something you can change, or something that you should necessarily fear, but believe me, no-one escapes Tobor's metallic grip!
