Quick tip for newbies #3
If you want people to read your comics, it is a good idea to use the relevant UBB code and actually display the comic in your forum posting. To use this feature, use the [ Posted comic does not exist ] tags, with just the comic number between the tags, not the whole URL.
There are lots of ways the find the comic number. Right now, any new comics have numbers of five digits, starting with 7. If you have just made a new comic, this number will be in the Address bar of your Explorer window. You can also see the number by hovering your mouse over a comic's title (which shows its whole URL) or, and this is the trickiest way, by selecting the title of a comic with your mouse (left-click-and-drag). The comic number is in the title of every comic, but it is black text on a black background. Brad, the guy who made and maintains this site, wanted to include the number on every comic, but didn't want it spoiling the look.
