110 degrees fahrenheit is hot, dry or not. It feels like walking into an oven. It would be much worse if there was high humidity to go along with the heat, but that's like saying, "Gabe's coming to visit but at least he's not bringing kaufman."
We didn't walk more than a couple blocks without going inside somewhere. Even shade offers little relief. The biggest thing you notice is that after standing outside for more than a couple minutes you start becoming dehydrated. I noticed that most of the locals were carrying beverages with them and I quickly realized that this was the key to not dropping dead when venturing outside. I drank gallons of water during my stay and still rarely needed to take a leak.
ObiJo, sorry to say this, but your town sucks and not just because you live there. The sprinklers are kinda neat, though.
