If you were in a doom band, I might have an easier time judging the quality. All I can say about black metal is whether or not the band is irritating.

It's not irritating... it's actually pretty good.

The Scouse rap was a bit ridiculous, not to mention poorly recorded. Still, anything containing a lyric like "ain't yer mum been to Kwik Save this week, ya tramp?" can't be bad.

I too am not a fan of black metal - I sort of like Cannibal Corpse for their amusement value, and not much else. I agree that DragonXero's song is better than most of its genre, though, mainly because it isn't too thrashy and has evil laughter in it. I could even make out some of the words. :)

Poor recording?
That's excellent recording for black metal.
The bassist and guitarist are college students, studying recording arts. So, obviously, we got some free recording.

The recording quality is so good, it's not even tr00 bljack mjetal.
