Hi all. I'm new to this, but I think I've got talent. My first series of strips will be based on my Call of Cthulhu gaming group. In case you don't know anything about Call of Cthulhu, you should run a search on google or something and check it out. It is some good stuff. Penzdragon out.

Dispite all warning signs telling me not to, I read your comics.

Some were pretty good, but most weren't. The nerd-factor was so high in some of them I almost couldn't go on, but there were some which were amusing and kept me reading to the end, such as #5.

You might have some good comics if you'd stick to topics that reference things normal people might actually understand. ...unless your goal is just to make nerdy gaming comics, in which case you can join rank-and-file of all the other nerdy game strippers on sc.com who aren't funny.

I know my current set of comics is nerdy, but when I saw that Cthulhu was among the sets of available figures in the comics, I couldn't resist to do some Cthulhu based ones. All I can say in my defense is that atleast they all go together and make sense (and even a few are funny). From what I can tell, about 10% of the comics made with this thing are great and the other 90% are basically senseless tiles of random characters saying gibberish and random comments relating to sexuality (with Catholic Priest jokes being the most prevalent among those).

I almost entirely agree with not_scyess. I almost couldn't bear them and there are so many people on here doing the gamer comics (most of them just a semi-rip off of the hilarious Penny Arcade). Penny Arcade is funny, but a lot of the gamer strips on here just suck.

While you didn't follow suit with the Penny Arcade thing, they were still sort of boring.

As far as your "10% is funny, 90% is gibberish" comment...look around a little, I think your percentages will change. Most of us DO in fact have story line to our comics and do not just slap characters on and make them say gibberish. While there is a good amount of people who do that, most of us dont. The vast majority of us are not just slapping together three frames of randomness.
