Denial... I just bought this drive 5 months ago it can't be going bad.
Bargaining... Maybe if I defrag it everything will be OK?
Guilt... If only I had scheduled those surface scans...
Anger & Depression... I hate this f*&%$@#!! thing! It's ruining my life!
