While still asleep in the can, the high tide took him out to sea. WAY out to sea. At least two time zones away. Three, if you don't count daylight savings time.

On a lighter note: Ned washed up on the shores of a tiny, little-known island in South Pacific. Inhabited by cannibals. Who immediately ate him, then used the trash receptacle for his bones.
