Sprinkles was just too evil to remove from the story right away.

I knew it.
Only this is my new form. I was forced to build a robot body after I was destroyed.

So this is the creator's new plan for you. Like I said before, twisted.
Well, think of it this way. Now we have a new and somewhat interesting plot line to follow, so the story can continue.
