Dear Sirs:

I am writing in reference to the photo of President Bush speaking at the dedication of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship's Youth Education Center in Dallas, Texas, Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003. The photo is credited to Charles Dharapak. I would like to know just what the Associated Press was thinking when it ran this picture of the US President framed by a crucifix and crowned in glory. This is an affront to Christianity, democracy, and journalism all at once. Bush is teh suxx0r!!1.

kaufman November 6, 2003 8:23 AM	It's more obvious on tv than in this still photo, but as was pointed out to me, when Bush signed this bill with that goofy look on his face, he was a dead ringer for Mel Brooks as the governor in Blazing Saddles. Now if somebody would just hand him one of those paddle thingies...
