But since then whoever made it has removed the "Lose the ego, kid" part, so that now it simply reads:

Not as great as claimed. 11-08-03

Why would they do that? What possible purpose would it serve to delete half of the comment, and leave the other half? I liked it better the first way anyway. Could the person who did this please explain why you did it?
