This forum is where you beg people to read your comics. Remember: the more obnoxious you are, the more likely people are to read and enjoy your comics.

People who are lame don't get to decide what makes other people lame. That's a fundamental law of lameness that cannot be disputed.

If you don't go now and immediately read all of my comics, you will suffer a debilitating aneurism.

If you do not find all of them uproariously funny, then you have already suffered a debilitating aneurism.

And Mr. Owner of this Domain, have you made any comics we should look at and laugh?

i'm not sure about newbie ghettoes like this. isn't there a danger of creating a non-funny sub class of newbie strippers who never get to spread their wings and soar like eagles with the rest of the strippers. are these people destined to roam these unhilarious wastelands with neither the confidence nor the ability to compete in blah blah blah . . . etc.

Or as a shocking reality you could just take the forum at its face value instead of having to have a pissing contest :]

Oh wait am I not cool I forgot to use the N and L words hehe

It's not so much a "pissing contest" as a "pissing off the forum users" contest. Sorry, Lyekka, but if you hang around for a few weeks or more, you will witness just how obnoxious it can be to see the same thing being posted, in a new thread of course, by a different newbie every two or three days.

It gets old...

One of the definitions my dictionary gives of global is comprehensive, entire, total. Surely, you're not expecting that test to fail in its mission and not include any questions on my comics!

All six of them are being used in Psychology 101 eh? ;)

I notice that it's usually the newbies that are defending the newbies. Yeah, we use the words "newbie" and "lame" a lot. They're quite useful words.

Yeah I've done just 6.. wow I'm so new.. oh dear...

Those words are just over used pop-terms.. like cowabunga or tubular

You complain about these boards all becoming the same because some newbie posts the same thing over and over.. so why are you doing it?

I came to read the comics .. make a few of my own with the limited time I get on the net these days ( I guess 3 years still counts me as a newbie ) not to argue, all I was saying is the guys are just trying to give people a chance to get themselves noticed and whats wrong with that? Unless of course you're right to be heard is so much greater than anyone else.

Just chill out and check the hormones at the door ;]

lotsa luv

Sorry I just went over that message and its got a negative tone, that wasn't my idea at all

Just what I was trying to say is yeah, I'm new to this board (well I started doing the comics ages ago I just didn't do many.. I guess I think comics is about enough for anyone with my sense of humour so I stopped myself) but I'm not here to advetise my strips, or argue just to read some of what people have to say.. read their comics.. some of them are very good much better than I could do.

I can just see why some people feel like they really need to be heard, or might be excited about what they have made.

Peace :]

My biggest gripe is the use of common moronic male stereotypes to oversimplify our extreme hatred of shitty strippers. It's not some overzealous pride issue. No, if you must bring it down to a complicated psychological issue, it rests in a perversion of an elder complex. We wish to retain foundership, else we lose our own personalities to the new generation. We grow increasingly tired of the newbies coming in and throwing about annoying 1337-speech and incomprehensible strips. There is some simple board-ettiquite that should be followed, and most people who frequent boards will tell you that actually READING a good portion of the active threads before posting is far more advisable than simply leaping into the fray. We all strive for exclusiveness of some sort or another, and this board helps to maintain that ideal. No matter who you are, what you are, or where you are, you want to be part of something that makes you feel special. Even you newbies group together like frightened children witnessing the first Fourth of July celebration ever. It's a natural instinct, common in many land-based mammals, including humans. This would be the "pack" instinct. There is a sudden need for hierarchy, and a drive for a place among the pack. Our use of the so-called "buzzwords" does not diminish our intelligence, nor does it alter your own status in any way. Furthermore, it does not indicate any sort of hormonal response to the situation of morons pouring in like so much diseased grain from a tanker truck.

Dragon Xero has included this short version for those of you who have the attention span of a three year old child

We like use "buzzwords". You newbie. You quiet. We smarter than you. THAT T-REX! WE RUN!! AAAAUGHHH!!

Thank you, this has been a public service announcement. OH DEAR GOD, IS THAT A DINOSAUR?!?!

...fuck elitism. I get on fine with newbies who don't act like arseholes. I have had no problems with attitudechicka, habnem, kramer_vs_kramer, LevelZero, etc etc etc etc...

At least two of them leapt straight in, no introductions, and I know one of them posted a polite "Hello, I'm new here". I will take a well-mannered newbie who has been here a day over a defiantly stupid prick who has posted 500 postings worth of utter rubbish.

Hey, Thomas, I just want to say that your username can initially be see as an indicator of you being a wanker. You aren't, of course, in fact I think you are pretty cool and your strips are very good.

We had some annoying newbies (*cough cough* Deisel *cough*) and for a while everyone was down on all new people, probably fearing they would be like *cough* and old-style-Crabby. Try to cope with it and ride it out if it gets rough, since you seem really nice and it would be a pity if you gave up on us.
