I love the quick downloads but Stripcreator doesn't seem to be logging my visits. That is, I keep getting starts next to things I've read and closed the browser for. Do you know of any FireFox issues like that?

I use FireFox, and have problems with those things as well. Although it will tell me what threads have new posts in them, and which don't. But I have to actually go into that specific forum for it to do it. I also find that clicking on the stars doesn't work, it'll just show me the very last post made (which I've found happens on other boards as well).

This problem is obviously due to all the ass that firefox kicks.

Firefox is Netscape's skinny brother.

I'm not sure what changed. I downloaded a new theme. I tried it. I went back to the original. I porked around with my options. Now the stars are doing their jobs.

I don't know if Brad did the GOD thing or if I somehow stumbled into doing something right.

But now it works.

Now it's back. Damn beta. Still... better than IE. I have a lot fewer evil cookies and such.

I think any browser is better than one that is programmed to stop working (ex: IE).

If you used the latest version of firefox and transfered your cookies from IE it has a few problems, best solution is to delete the cookies for the site (tools/options stored cookies) and then re-login. Other than this and a couple of minor display problems I havent had any trouble using firefox with stripcreator, if you're making series (and the tab feature in firefox is great for that) however the best browser Ive seen is myie2, which brad recomended and also has the tab window feature aswell as full IE compatibility.

It's basically a skin over IE, but it has a lot better features like popup blocking, tabs, paranoia insurance, searches made easier, and so much more. In general it's a bit like building a castle on a mud pond, but the castle seems to stand up well enough on it's own.

It's also skinnable and has tons of pre-packed features like the afformentioned popup blocker and a flash save tool.

Try it out, it's a great IE replacement.
