Stripcreator has joined with Sony to release its strips on DVD. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, will be to take any strip or series (yours or anyone else's) and give us an idea of what the DVD will be like. Examples include, but are not limited to
-Director's cut
-outtakes
-bloopers reel
-original preview
-commentary by writer, stars, etc.
-scenes from the source material (e.g. original stage play) and/or remake
-"Making of" documentary
-screen tests (including failed ones)
-aspect ratio
-"Where are they now?"
-restoration
-colorization
-dubbing/subtitling
-newsreels of the premiere
-cartoons, travelogues, short subjects

Please include a link to the original strip/series.

The only limits are your imagination and the deadline, which is 12:01 AM Eastern (11:01 PM Central) Saturday, March 5. Winner will be announced that day. Employees of Sony Pictures, their families, friends, and grade-school classmates are ineligible, but since I have no way to check, go ahead and enter anyhow.

The concept of this contest is actually very good.

I think we should find a new judge and see this one out. I nominate crabby, but I think the final decision should be brad's.

I agree with the runner-up idea, but I think dcomposed should chose which of the three (MikeyG, kaufman, and possums) should judge. I also agree that this is a good contest concept, but it might be nicer to the judge to allow him to make his to create his own contest.

The fact that dcom picked Chubby's strip in the first place made me question my opinion of dcom.

chubby's comic was the funniest that was posted. I don't care who made it or who it was about, the one that is the funniest is the one that should win.
