Recently a web forum that I programmed went live. I was anticipating a respectable amount of posts akin to this one (it is for a semi-popular musician), but in a whole week of being up it has recieved a massive FOUR posts. So I am now insanely jealous of Brad.

And no, I'm not telling you lot where it is. The last thing I need is for it to get clogged up with donkey sodomy posts. I'll give it a month before I do that.

Would you prefer jokes on Scottish Football/Politics clogging it up?

We can do that.

When you actually give people a topic to stick to, they get confused and don't know what to write. By limiting them to talking about this musician, they really don't have much to say.

Brad, on the other hand, has entitled this forum, for example, general discussion. This could mean anything. Therefore everyone types. Or maybe I'm just talking out my ass... it worked for my friend.

Don't worry, the forums here aren't actually very busy. There are actually only two or three users, but they all post with fifty different accounts, thereby creating the illusion of activity. That might be a strategy you could try.

You know what would be weird? Imagine, right, imagine you went to a forum where there seemed to be a very active community, with two dozen or so regulars having elaborate conversations, and an archive stretching back four or five years. Then you happen to notice the users' IP addresses, and they're all the same! Someone has been using the forum for years, conversing with himself under different personalities, and posting about fifty times a day. That would cross the fine line between very geeky and frightening.

I would like to see that. Is it like a ventriloquist act? Can you drink water while your ass talks?

As for cats. Mine is aging poorly and doesn't smell good all the time.

And the conspiracy was documented long ago. I've lost my notes when alien FBI agents broke in, but it was all very scientific-like.

My cat could kick your cat's ass, your ass, bitchslap your mother and steal your car. Its name is: I'veKilledAMan, and I'm its bitch. One time I came home with soft catfood it didn't like and was released from the hospital two months later.

Actually, one of my cats is too sweet and the other is like Spankling's, not aging well. She's 17 and has gone mostly deaf. The only thing she hears anymore are high pitch sounds. (As I found out from a quite ingenious car horn test that took two years off her life.)

I have a cat. She lives with my parents, but she's still my cat. She was never de-clawed, and she'll attack anyone, often for undiscernable reasons. No one but me sees the humor in this. She's really quite likeable, as long as she's not presented with one of the myriad things which she believes constitute a threat to her well-being, such as vacuum cleaners, other cats, or being picked up.
