After winning CC72, I let the experience go to my head. I hereby declare myself Emperor and declare war on Old Dime Box, Texas.

The following competition will relatively simple:

[1] Use one of the characters from the forumusers category.
[2] Use as a plot point some form of dysfunctional behavior, the type that could get you on Jerry Springer.
[3] In at least one place in the dialogue, slip in the title of a song. The more seamless the better. And the more often the better as well.

Have fun. I'll close the competition on thursday midnight.

By Imperial decree, it is so.

Kramer , you can still win it

All you have to do is work out how to get EVERY SINGLE PROCLAIMERS SONG TITLE EVER WRITTEN into one strip.

Im counting on you. As im cleary a talentless hack destined to obscurity with Andy.

Frame 1, Clango. "I am Iron Man" is from Iron Man, by Black Sabbath.

Frame 2, Clango. "We are brothers of metal", from the song "Brothers of Metal" by Manowar.
Me. "Harder than steel" from the song of the same name by Hammerfall.

Frame 3, Me. "I love rock 'n roll", erm, I doubt this one needs explaining.

No, in order to win, the judge just has to pick it.

Plus, it was utterly hilarious. :-)

No, in order to win, it has to not be a direct rip-off of someone else's comic.

It was very funny, when kaufman did it.

Obvious to you, I guess. Since your message wasn't a direct reply to any post, I for one can't be sure who you think is dicking around and what exactly that dicking around consists of (since "dicking around" can describe a variety of activities). Given the time of your post, I am unsure whether you are admonishing ladyj or myself based on our posts immediately previous to yours, generally admonishing the whole thread, or some other person.

Mainly (old paranoid me, given the timing of your post) I'm not sure if you think that somehow I was dicking around, and if so, why.

Essentially, the message was directed to whoever cared to assume responsibility. Apparently you have stepped up to face the brunt of the message, therefore, stop dicking around!

Nope. ElTigre copied kaufman's comic and stuck his name on it and posted it. View the thread from the start, and you'll see.

I see now the intended irony of your inital post. You are dicking around by telling everyone to stop dicking around.

Alas, sophisticated humor like that (and kaufman's) is lost on me.
