Your task, should you choose to accept it, is the following:

  • Make a comic in the style of another comic stripper here. Most strippers probably don't have an identifiable style, but I can think of several that do, or at least several who have a particular brand of schtick. Try to emulate that schtick. If you're stumped, I'll also except entries done in the style of popular comics (read: syndicated newspaper funnies - if it's not a comic with which I am familiar, I probably won't get it).

  • Just to provide some thematic guidance, include something about the US military (from any era) somewhere in your comic.

  • Judging will be done some time Monday night. I will also pick a winner then.

I'll kick off the proceedings with this old'n of mine.

Not an entry, because I don't mention the US military. Plus it's a bit bad.

Andydougan has been disqualified! Bastard!

(No, not really. But he's still a bastard.)

That'll teach me to type while my wife is trying to discuss important matters with me. I'm not sure what she said but it was enough to distract me. I shall endeavor to ignore her more completely next time.

Ow!

I wanted to add a couple things I neglected in the original rules post:

- multiple entries are permitted
- photoshopped entries are permitted

This is of course in the style of whomever that is that posts those big, redundant narration boxes in lousy comics. Of course, what makes this one even worse is the extra text in panel 3 caused the background in panel 2 to slide up, so the eel is no longer coming out of his ear, so the surprise ending is even more Ed Woodish.

This is one I wrote a couple weeks ago, but it conveniently fits the criteria, so I think I'll submit it for the contest:

Ignorance of the rules is no excuse to break them, bub... You've got a lot of reading to do.
