Apparently he was the user known as "bobby17" and was banned for trolling and such... At least that's what he told me.

Yep.

crabby's been involved in just about every major forum drama in the past two years. Trolling under bobby17 was the last straw.

He's a funny guy but he seems to seriously enjoy yanking people's chains and I'm sick of dealing with the fallout.

How Crabby infestation was banned:

Brad washed the infested avatar and towel dried.

Thoroughly saturated site with crab medication. Thoroughly rinsed off medication with water. Dried off with a clean towel.

Following treatment, most crabs will still be attached to site shafts. They may be removed with fingernails or being banned by Brad.

Put on clean underwear and clothing after treatment and rinse mouse and keyboard

Inform any current strippers that they may have been at risk of infestation.

Repeat treatment in 7-10 days if crabs are still found or if found under the alias bobby17.

Congratulations...you are now Crab free!

As a moderator (some people still struggle to believe that I'm in any position of authority on this site) I can confirm that almost every major incident SC has faced in recent years has had crabby as a common denominator.

That's not to say that the other participating parties weren't acting like complete arseholes, in every single case they were*. This isn't a victory for any one single user, it's a move that betters the future of stripcreator, and not a decision that came lightly.

I wish crabby, my friend, all the best.

Think of it as a knock-out tournament, crabby has come up against a plethora of other users/trolls and in each case the mods thought he was the lesser of the two evils and banned the other guy.

Recently, crabby's decided to just start trolling freelance so there was only one button we could press.

Admittedly, he probably got by on his reputation for a while, but I don't think we've ever banned the wrong guy.

Me neither. My sarcasm was motivated by a complete misunderstanding of what you meant. Sorry about that.

Yeah, for a while, I enjoyed having crabby around to out-troll the trolls. Then I learned there was a problem with that. Slow of me, really.

It appears that some found his shtick funny and some found it offensive. I found it to be neither. I thought him to be juvenile, silly, and slightly annoying. He did not offend, amuse, or interest me. I ignored him. If he trolls back onto this site I will continue to ignore him.

Trolling aside I did think a couple of his comics were funny.

That's what you get for ripping off my avatar!

Crabby was funniest when he wrote in caps lock.

Though the fact that he was the one to come up with the strip "Why I Hate Newbies" was damn funny.

Drove me crazy how he always disliked running gags, like how he said there was nothing funny about the skeet shooting comics.
