I am making a page with a bit of info on this forum's regulars. It is basically done, and includes your forum_users character (if you have one), a real-life pic (if I have one), and a brief bit of text for each regular.

Basically, can I get a nod from everyone if you don't mind me using any of the real-life pics of you I have been sent for making a forum_user character. Then I won't feel bad for putting them online.

It is currently about dawn here, and I must go crash before my brain shuts down completely. Night night. *snooze*

An apology first of all to those of you who do not yet have a forum_users character - I based this on that character set. As such, many regulars are not on it yet. This will be fixed soon. I just wanted to get the preliminary version online so everyone could have a look at the general look I am going for. None of the planned text is in yet, either. I am planning to have each text cell contain the user's name (which will also be a link to their comics) and a little note about the user.

Feedback?

Cool page. Now I know who to look for after I finish my "Better stalking in 30 days or your money back if you can find me (which, if you'd been paying attention to me instead of sticking your dick in the pencil sharpener, you'd be able to)" class.

I think I'll be sending you a pic before too long too, DexX. The only reason I haven't up to this point is that most pictures of me are so old they don't look anything like how I do now. But I'll dig one up soon. (Which means _d will be one of the last holdouts and surely we can peer pressure him into caving with taunts of "You ain't got no piiiiiicture.")

I fixed the double-Brad thing, but forgot to upload it. I also forgot to upload Bunner's pic. I should just reiterate - I don't plan to omit anyone, Perm. I based the prototype page on the list of characters I have so far, then added the first two old regulars without forum_users characters that popped into my head. I will add everyone, even those without a character, when I am feeling a bit less lazy... probably tomorrow, but knowing me... who knows?

I also have to get around to drawing boorite, Perm, fuzzyman, and lara7 before they start nagging me, Matthew Eastaugh style.

Sounds like a note of fear in your voice Andy. Besides , if the script kiddies have followed the links in your signature , theyre already looking at your pic and saying "Ha ha youre gay".

Actually, I don't believe DexX hates your guts. I think he dislikes you. I doubt very seriously that DexX would waste hate on someone as insignificant as yourself.

Secondly, "internet emotions" is a concept that's a crock of bullshit. One can have emotions about the internet, or about people with whom they communicate via the internet, but the emotions are real life emotions. If you really think that there is a separate kind of emotion for the internet, you're more of a git than I thought.

Then again, it would be folly to think that one who is so obviously socially dysfunctional would be able to understand anything having to do with interaction between human beings, whether in person or via the internet.

Nate, I have to say that I have found you to be pretty annoying. You redeemed yourself somewhat by expressing some good taste in jazz, but then you went and got all annoying again.

I don't hate you. I'm not sure I even dislike you. But I am often irritated by you.

Mainly, you need to develop an edit function somewhere between your brain and the Save button. Something where you ask yourself the question, "Does this contribute to the conversation? Is it worth saying? Is is going to piss someone off? Am I trying to piss someone off? (This may be a valid thing to do under certain circumstances.) Am I just being a jerk?"

I was being sarcastic.

I seriously don't understand how I manage to piss people off so easy, or what were all the bad things I said that everyone is still offended about. I though I was just being smart like everyone else here can do. I mean, when I say something, It's rarely serious unless it's about music or something I seriously think + know things about. I supose thats better than just shooting my mouth off about things I don't know. If I wind up being a wise guy and offending everyone, then I'm sorry.

In the emotional situation I'm in(in the real world)(which you will never hear of from me cause its N.O.Y.D.B), I think I've built up lack of sensitivity or concern for what I saw and I think less about wheather or not I'm offending someone. I usualy don't take anything serously here, cause it's my get-away from everything. But if I let it go to my head, well, then I deserve all the critisim you throw at me.
