Is anyone else noticing that some forums and lists are marked as new after they've closed IE and re-opened it, even if nothing has changed? Am I loosing my mind?

But is anyone else getting this problem? I mean having boards and threads marked as new when nothing has changes since you last loaded IE, not being a nimrod in the spelling department.

Just some of them and just some of the time. For example, I'll go into Board A, close IE, open IE and see stars in the top 3 posts for Board A. I'll look at those posts and notice that nothing has changed.

yeah, I've noticed it too, it's pretty random, I think you have to actually post in a certain forum to reset the stars, for instance, the "Bug Reports & Suggestions" forum always has a star because I rarely post in here.

I can't say it's anything that bothers me, but I just thought I'd post this to reassure Bogart and Spankling that there isn't anything up with their computers (and to get rid of the God-damn star).

So that's what i mean too say...

yeah I've seen this on and off... not right now but recently. Just didn't know how to describe it and too lazy I guess.

The stars have never been a problem for me. Anything with a new message in it is marked as being new until I close down and restart Exploiter. Isn't that what everyone else gets?

I think thats how it normaly works. But I've seen the stars on messages that I've already read and then closed explorer on. I think thats whats wrong.

It hasn't happend lately though... there was a bit when we moved but not in the past few days.

I thought I used to have this problem, but either it's corrected itself or I was originally mistaken.
