But what I really wanted was SOCOM...

Oh well. So we got caught in a short abortion discussion and I said that we needed to put more money into researching raising a fetus outside of the womb to put the issue at rest. Discuss if you like.

Yehh, so I was wondering how that would eliminate abortions. Way I understand it is that the women don't want the child to be born at all, at least in certain cases.

And just to clarify, I'm not anti-abortion, but I do think it is a serious decision that is not easy to make.

I suppose it could be good if the woman maybe wanted to put the child up for adoption, without wanting to carry it for nine months. But even so, all i can see that leading to would be vast hordes of parentless children.

I think if we would just legalize fetus-eating, the market would take care of this issue by itself.

My girlfriend thought she might be pregnant a while ago, and we discussed it and decided that an abortion was the best option. Luckily she was just getting fat.
But of course by then we'd got in the mood for an abortion so we had to kidnap a pregnant woman and take her to a clinic

Utilitarianism is, like all other human endeavours, deeply flawed and should be put down for the good of mankind.
