There are actually only three of us on this message board, arenâ€™t there! Three of us are real, breathing people. The rest are made up for fun, or in many cases products of a disturbed subconscious. After extensive research, hereâ€™s how I see it braking down:

Real person LadyJ invented boorite, krinkle, Drexle, crabbysgirl and [I]is haunted by[/I] descolada99b, skagg and kaufman

Real person Obijo invented gabe, wirthling, Big Evil Dan, TOBOR and [I]is haunted by[/I] Jael, DexX and evil_d

Real Person Dr. Pedantic [I]invented[/I] Big Evil Dave, Crabby, Don Ricardo, Dr. Light and [I]is haunted by[/I] NeoVid, bunnerabb and Spankling (me)

There are others to figure out â€“ that is as far as Iâ€™ve been able to get. I know some of you will be shocked to realize you donâ€™t exist â€“ I know I was. But this is founded on solid research and numbers donâ€™t lie.

The good news is I feel better about not paying my bills. Let Dr. Pedantic worry about it!

The one I feel bad for is Obijo â€“ heâ€™s so diluted he gave up being himself and now only has his other personas to live through!

crabby July 11, 2001 10:34 PM	I actually began to weep when I realized that I don't really exist. It was even worse when I found out that I was invented by my arch enemy DrPedantic. Oh what a cruel world I thought I existed in.

Okay, I can live with that, at least.

On the othet hand, how am I to interpret the departure of ObiJo from this message board (and his presence in my ICQ list, for that matter)? Am I the seductively attractive persona which proved to be a more satisfying existence for Obi, causing him to leave his real identity behind and embrace madness?

Correction, do evil_d, Jael, and myself collectively make up this seductive alternate self to which Obi has apprently succumbed?

Oh, and speaking of Freud, why am I always catching myself in the act of fellating anything even remotely phallic?

Hmmmm... maybe I should have kept that last one to myself...

He didn't invent you, Jael. You haunt him (and many other men, I'll wager - but that's another story). By haunting him I mean you are not a purposeful persona he has put on for amusement, but something deep and powerful that has bubbled up from his dreams.

Well, being haunting sounds a truckload better than being invented. I would rather be a vivid and complete fractious personality than a simple deliberate fictional construct.

Does that mean that Obi posts as me (and Jael and evil_d) during blackouts, but puts his lost time down to freakish sleep patterns caused by chronic insomnia? Wow, if he got demented enough, he might end up thinking that we were real, and talk to us like separate people... someone could make a movie from this storyline, dontcha think?

Who said anything about a purposeful figment being simple? I've had a lot of work and effort put into my development, and it's not as though I'm incapable of my own independant personality growth. Any Role Player could tell you that. On the other hand, however, the fractious personality of a "haunter" encompases only one or two aspects of a personality, and is far from vivid.

DrPedantic must have created me so he could finally win a Comic Contest since he's never won one before. I'm the only one he created thats even won a Comic Contest. Of the people haunting DrPedantic NeoVid has won twice, bunnerabb has won three times, and spankling has won once.
The people created by ObiJo are far more accomplished. gabe has won three, BigEvilDan has won two, and wirthling is the all time leader with six count em six Comic Contest wins.
It's times like this I wish I was invented by ObiJo instead of DrPedantic.

Just incase anyone was wondering of the people ladyJ has invented boorite has won twice, krinkle crabbysgirl and drexle have never won. Of the people haunting ladyJ descolada99b has won three times, kaufman has won twice, and skagg has never won.

There are several people not associated with any of the three real people who have won. They include: bottlerocket, bob32, fishoutofbeer, Scyess, DragonXero, MatthewEastaugh, Braze, nibor, and
Ranma X.
