Did you see that neat design the farmer made in the field?
Yeah, It looks a lot like steps.
CONTOUR PLOWING
That contour plowing does make steps that hold the rainwater.
Doesn't it take longer?
STOPS THE FLOW OF RAINWATER
It takes longer and uses more fuel but it's worth it.
